The Word of Life

Here is a video that you can watch in order to get up to date with what has been happening or if you like you can read basically what I say in the video below.

Hey Everyone! This is Gabriel here from YWAM Ozarks.
This passed season has been filled with such amazing times spent with God learning from His word and the community of people around me.
I will try and get you up to speed.

First off... The School of Biblical Studies
On February 19th I graduated from the New Testament SBS. The word of God has taught me so much about God's heart and how to live it out
I was able to dig into the books of the New Testament and discover some wonderful riches and build a foundation on God's Word that will last my entire life.
I even had the opportunity to practice teaching the amazing book of 2 Timothy, Paul's last advice to a young man that he had mentored and raised up to be a soldier of Jesus proclaiming the Word of Life to the world.
An important truth I learned in the SBS, was that knowing God's perspective, which is that he is triumphant over sin and death, brings freedom and LIFE.

Not only have I been discipled like Timothy was discipled by Paul but I along with others here at YWAM Ozarks were able mentor the next generation of disciples.

Last week a lively group of high-school freshmen came to our campus for a week of Mission Adventures.
We proceeded to drop them into the world of missions in a fun way with games and activities. They stood alongside us as we worshiped and interceded for the nations and for the persecuted church.
Near the end of the week they hit the streets with us to distribute Bibles to houses in our town of Ozark. Two of the students came with me. They were a little apprehensive to walk up to a door and pray for a stranger.
However, after I did it once or twice, I gave them a little nudge and they took the plunge and stepped bravely forward. They realized it wasn't so bad and then by the end they were joyfully running from house to house handing out Bibles and praying over people they had never met.
They even did it as the rain began to come down and drench their clothes.
While we were doing this I got a call that our van had broken down and we were needed to push it. It seemed like the enemy was trying to deter us, but after getting the van out of the way, the kids seemed even more inspired and we pressed on from house to house bringing the light and love of Christ to the citizens of Ozark.
To finish their day of ministry we went to the mall to do face to face evangelism and pray for people. Our little missionaries-in-training were pumped and excited as they went from person to person asking if they could intercede for them in any way.
They did such a thorough job that when I tried to walk up to a lady and see if I could pray for her and she said, “Are you with the missions group?” And I said, “Oh did you already get prayed for?”
I love watching people get excited and see that they have a place in building God's kingdom on earth!

So that's what has been happening.

I am currently working as staff in YWAM Ozarks for the summer and planning on being a part of some of the outreaches and courses that we have planned.

One of those is the Missing Link. It is an action packed, month-long, read-through of the Old Testament. It focuses on that part of God's story that is sometimes overlooked but is so crucial and a powerful.

This Summer we will be have a outreach to a hippy festival called Wakarusa. We did this last year and Wow was it a time of seeing God's love shine through to people who least expected it! I am looking forward to that one.

Also this spring I will be doing more videos to let people know the work God is doing in this place.
I am working on a video for the School of Biblical Studies. I am excited about it and hope to share it with you when it is done.

This fall I am planning on stepping back into being a student of the School of Biblical Studies. This time we will be starting in the Old Testament.

SO, in a nut shell, that's what's been happening with me. I would love to hear from any of you, how God is working in your life and how I can be praying for you. Just shoot me an email in the link below and I would love to get back with you. Blessings to you as you continue to live in God's epic adventure.
